On the 12th and 13th of December 2016, the Posthumus Institute organized its first seminar of the 2016 – 2017 Posthumus PhD Basic Training Programme in Brussels, Belgium. The N.W. Posthumus Institute is the research school for economic and social history in the Netherlands and Belgium. With its PhD training, the N.W. Posthumus Institute has contributed since 1988 to the successful completion of PhD dissertation projects.
Our researcher, Robin Philips, who was successfully accepted for the PhD Training Programme, presented in Brussels an introduction about his PhD Research on the industrial development in the Netherlands and Belgium during the 19th and 20th century. In the upcoming Posthumus seminars, Robin will present more about his PhD research and his preliminary results.
